Tips for flying with children
- Dress children warmly: little ones feel the cold on the field more than adults.
- Let them sleep in the car on the way. They will be wide awake for the inflation.
- Explain the noise of the burner before the flight, so it's exciting, not scary.
- For young children, a private balloon gives them more space and calm.
How we keep the flight safe for children
- We check before you book. Send us each child's age and height. Your pilot confirms that every child can see over the basket edge and hold the landing position.
- We only fly in calm weather. The pilot decides on the field. If the wind is wrong, nobody flies, and you choose a new date or a full refund.
- A briefing children understand. The pilot explains the burner, the landing position and the rules in simple words, and practises the landing position with the kids.
- Children stand with an adult for the whole flight, and the pilot reminds everyone before landing.
